Seeking Talented Freelance VFX Artist for an Exciting Film Project

About the Role

We're looking for a skilled and creative Visual Effects (VFX) Artist to join our upcoming dynamic film production team on a freelance basis. This is an opportunity to work on an innovative independent project that has a huge relevance and pushes the boundaries of visual storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

· Create high-quality visual effects for film scenes using Maya or Blender and After Effects

· Collaborate with the director and production team to bring creative visions to life

· Develop and refine 3D models, textures, and animations

· Integrate CGI elements seamlessly with live-action footage

· Optimize workflows to meet project deadlines and quality standards

· Troubleshoot technical issues and propose innovative solutions

Required Skills and Experience

· Proven experience in VFX for film or high-end television productions

· Expert proficiency in Maya or Blender (both are a plus)

· Proficient in Adobe After Effects for compositing and motion graphics

· Strong understanding of 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, and compositing

· Familiarity with industry-standard rendering engines (e.g., Arnold, V-Ray)

· Excellent knowledge of color theory, composition, and cinematography

· Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

· Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Nice-to-Have

· Experience with Cinema 4D

· Knowledge of other VFX software such as Houdini or Nuke

· Experience with motion capture and virtual production techniques

· Background in traditional art or animation

Project Details

· Duration: 3-4 months (with potential for extension)
